Itinerary Description
The itinerary runs on the slopes of the Valle Elvo astride the moraine hill of Serra.
We leave from the Sanctuary of Graglia in direction of Netro on an unpaved road and trail. Several ascents and descents and turn-offs (well-marked) lead us to the locality Poinera. We cross meadows and pastures, and descend to the hamlet of Casale (Donato).
We cross the town and descend to the hamlet of Mulino. After crossing the bridge, we take the dirt road that rises.
We reach Lake Cossavella and then go on to Lake Pre. From here, the road becomes challenging along steep firebreaks and reaches the main ridge (elevation 732 m - various waymarks).
The trail descends toward the Canavese side to reach the church of S. Stefano Sessano.
From here, we proceed to Chiaverano.
