the path runs along the slopes of the central part of Valsesia valley with an interesting route and several sections of paved road.
Departure from the Varallo Sacro Monte, we cross the city towards the south to get to Our Lady of Loreto, and then in the direction of the hamlet of Cilimo. After crossing the end of the valley and the small village of Roccapietra, the path turns towards the lake of St. Augustine. Bordering the lake, the journey continues toward the village of Quarona. Before entering the town, there is a deviation (about 20 minutes of hiking up the hill) towards the beautiful church of San Giovanni in Monte. Returning to the main path, we go through Quarona and arrive in Vanzone. Then we cross the Sesia River and continue on to Isolella and Agnona on roads and stone paths. Following the road that runs alongside the new hospital, we take the dirt road to Bocchetto, and from there descend to Guardabosone.
