Chiesa di San Gaudenzio

The monumental church of Baceno is a singular example of religious architecture, located in the intersection between Formazza and Divedro Valley. The origin of the church goes back to the sixteenth-century, when the first chapel was built.
Then, the little structure was modified and enlarged becoming the greater work of genius of today. The church with a nave and double aisles is dedicated to St. Gaudenzio. Besides the impressive high altar, it is possible to admire other seven altars dedicated to different Saints and the sixteenth-century baptistery.
