The itinerary runs along the beautiful Canavese slope of Serra d'Ivrea.
We leave from Chiaverano toward S. Stefano Sessano (a charming place) and then resume the road to the Church of S. Maria Maddalena in Burolo. In descent, we take the Via Solecchio to continue on a dirt road toward S. Martino (called Ciucarun)
It rises toward the Telecom Tower on the main ridge, and then we take the trail to Magnano.
We cross the village and descend toward the Romanesque church of San Secondo and the nearby monastic community of Bose. We continue on the road that connects Magnano to San Sudario, and then take the mule track for Zimone.
The municipal cemetery, we take a dirt road that reaches the hamlet of Rolle di Viverone, and from there to the town centre, our destination and connection with the Via Franchigena.
